    • The app opens faster. Starting up used to load everything the app might
ever need before the window appeared: the SQL Server driver and the Azure
sign-in library it pulls in, the updater, and AG Grid with its stylesheets.
Each of those now arrives when it is first needed instead — when you connect to
a database, when an update is looked for, when a results grid is opened.
Measured on the same machine against the installed 1.12.1: the window is on
screen in about 290ms instead of 440ms, and the first screen is drawn in about
720ms instead of 860ms. What the first screen loads is 0.3MB of interface code
instead of 1.5MB; the grid's own 1.2MB arrives the first time a results screen
      opens.
    • What that costs you, and where. The first database connection you make and
the first results grid you open each carry a fraction of a second more than
before, because that part is now paid for at the moment you ask for it rather
than at every launch. Nothing you do after that changed.
    • The window no longer flashes white. It opens with the app's own background
colour, so the short wait between the window appearing and the screen being
drawn is one plain frame instead of a white one.
    • Refresh in the TBO Workflow Helper results grid. A new button re-runs the
helper query over the same connection and parameters, so rows that someone else
changed while the results were on screen can be picked up without going back
      through Connect and Run.
    • Nothing in the app's database work changed in this release, so no scripts to
      apply.

    • Check for updates without restarting. A new Check for updates button sits
next to the version number in the header. Until now an update was looked for
only when the app started, so a release published while you had the app open
stayed invisible until the next launch; one press now asks the feed. If
something newer is out, the usual banner appears with What's new, Download
and Later — nothing is downloaded until you press Download, exactly as
before. If you choose Later, the button stays put so you can bring the banner
back later, and pressing it twice is still a single request to the feed.
    • An update check that fails now says so. When the press finds nothing newer
you get a brief v1.12.1 is current line; when the feed cannot be reached the
failure stays on screen instead of passing silently. Previously an updater
error went only to the log, so "the feed could not be read" looked exactly like
"there is nothing new for you".
    • The button only appears in an installed build — a dev build has no updater to
ask. Nothing in the app's database work changed in this release, so no scripts
      to apply.

    • TBO investigation worksheet, in a popup. Each TBO row now has a Detail
icon that opens a second grid with the dates laid out side by side for that
member: the term date the TBO observed, the end date last supplied by the
agency, the end date last delivered to BCBSM on an 834, the last change feed
reported to the agent, the group's production go-live date, and your most
recent event note. Benefits Still Active, Recommended Action and
Next Steps come back blank on purpose — they are the cells you fill in as
you work the case. Sorting and the checkbox filters work in the popup as they
      do in the main grid.
    • A batch of worksheets at once. Tick several TBO rows and use the new
Show detail button: every selected TBO comes back in one popup, and the
lookup runs once however many rows you picked. If a TBO has already been
cleared or expired it simply returns no worksheet, and the popup says so
rather than showing an empty grid with no explanation. A failed lookup gets a
Try Again button, so you don't have to close the popup to retry.
    • Copy a whole row in two clicks. In the worksheet popup, double-clicking a
row selects the entire row (the same block you get by dragging), and Ctrl+C —
or right-click → Copy — puts it on the clipboard as one tab-separated line,
blank where the grid shows —, so it pastes straight into Excel or a ticket.
Only the columns you can see are copied; the TBO id and type columns are
hidden by default here, since rows are already told apart by name and SSN.
    • Double-click means different things in the two grids, deliberately. In the
TBO grid a double-click opens that row's worksheet — the same as its Detail
icon. It is ignored in the pinned columns, so it can never press Add Event,
Re-eval, Link or Detail twice by accident, and it never touches the row
checkboxes: a batch you have picked for re-evaluation stays picked. In the
popup grid, where the point is reading and copying, it selects the row.
    • Full column names on hover. A truncated column header now shows its whole
name as a tooltip in every grid.
    • Admins: one-time setup. The popup calls a new stored procedure,
analytics.BcnTboWorkflowHelper_Details, which must exist in En.Enrollment
(script at sql/analytics.BcnTboWorkflowHelper_Details.sql in the source
repo; needs database compatibility level 130 or higher for OPENJSON). The
TBO ids are sent to it as JSON text, so a very large id cannot be rounded on
the way to the database. Without the procedure the main grid is unaffected and
the popup just reports that the object is missing.

    • Excel-style cell selection in every grid. Drag across cells in the TBO,
Investigation, COBRA and Jira grids and you now get one rectangular block of
cells instead of whole rows turning blue — the way a block behaves in SSMS or
Excel. Shift+click or Shift+arrow keys stretch the block out from the cell you
started in, a plain arrow key moves on and drops the block, Escape clears it.
Sorting, filtering, or moving/hiding columns clears it as well, because those
move cells out from under it. The row checkboxes and the row buttons
(Add Event, Re-eval, Link, View) work exactly as before, so selecting cells
never queues or opens anything by accident.
    • Copy a whole block into Excel or SSMS. With a block selected, Ctrl+C — or
right-click → Copy — puts the block on the clipboard as tab-separated rows:
one value per cell, in the column order you see, so it lands in the right
cells when you paste. Empty cells stay empty instead of pasting the — the
grid shows. Copying a single cell is unchanged, and the "Copied" flash in the
      status line still confirms it.
    • Two things this release does not do yet: one block at a time only (no
Ctrl+click to build up several separate blocks like Excel), and a drag that
reaches the edge of the grid stops at the last cell rather than scrolling.
    • New TBO event type: Agency Confirmation. The Events column in the TBO
Workflow Helper now offers "Agency Confirmation" in its list of event types,
so those events can be recorded, sorted and filtered like the others.

    • Excel-style column filters. The text "contains" filter is gone. Every filterable column in every results grid now opens a dropdown of checkboxes listing the distinct values actually present in that column — pick the ones you want, or untick the ones you don't. It works the same in the TBO, Investigation, COBRA and Jira grids.
    • Filters that match what you see. Each value shows how many rows it covers, blank cells appear as a (Blanks) entry you can tick, and long lists (Member Id, SSN, dates) get a search box to narrow them down. Values are listed exactly as the grid displays them, so a date column offers 2024-05-02, not a raw timestamp. (Select All) and Clear filter are always there, and every tick applies immediately — no Apply button. The list also respects the filters on your other columns, so it always shows the values still in play.
    • eN3 sign-in, no API key. The TBO workflow can now sign you in to the eN3 portal with your own web session: a small window opens the portal and you log in through SSO exactly as in a browser. The session is kept in its own cookie store, so it survives restarts, and the cookie never leaves the app — it is not stored in settings, written to logs, or passed to the interface. When it expires, the sign-in prompt simply comes back.
    • Re-evaluate a TBO from the grid. A new column on each TBO row sends that member to the portal for re-evaluation, with a confirmation step that shows what is about to be sent and skips rows missing the ids the portal needs. The same column links out to the member's MemberInquiry page in your browser. Note that the portal only acknowledges a re-evaluation as queued — the app does not retry it, so check the portal if a queue is important to you.

    • New workflow: TBO Workflow Helper. A new tile on the dashboard connects to En.Enrollment and runs analytics.BcnTboWorkflowHelper, showing everything the procedure returns in one sortable, filterable grid.
    • Events on each TBO. Record what happened to a row straight from the results: Void Performed, Auto Term Verified, Investigation Required, Manually Termed, or a free-form Comment — each with an optional note. Events are an append-only history, so a row can accumulate as many as it needs and nothing is ever overwritten. The timestamp and the user are stamped by the server from the connection you are already using, so there is nothing extra to fill in.
    • Sort and filter by the latest event. The pinned Events column shows the most recent event for each row and behaves like any other column: sort by it or filter it to pull up everything still awaiting a decision. It updates the moment you record a new event.
    • Admins: one-time setup. The event history needs the analytics.TboAuditEvents table in En.Enrollment (script at sql/analytics.TboAuditEvents.sql in the source repo). Event types are defined in the app, not the database, so new ones can be added in future releases without a schema change.

    • Release notes, inside the app. The update banner now has a "What's new" button, the first launch after an update shows what changed since the version you came from, and the header shows your installed version with the full release history.
    • Connection screen refreshed. Auth Type and Server Name now use searchable dropdowns that match the dark theme, and the server list suggests the servers you have connected to before as you type.

    • Copy values out of any result grid. Press Ctrl+C on the focused cell, or right-click a cell and choose Copy — the copied text is exactly what the grid displays. Cell text can also be selected with the mouse again, so you can copy a fragment of a long value.

    • "What the function?" — a new workflow: sign in to Jira (accumtech) and search ENOPS, EN3PR, EN and IPST tickets for an idea or phrase.
    • Investigation feedback is now approve/deny and stays addressable afterwards. A green badge marks a row once all of its feedback is handled, and saving feedback no longer requires a note.
    • Jira ticket search covers the EN3PR, EN and IPST projects, and tickets completed more than a month ago are skipped.
    • Auto-updates are served from forgejo.vtor.io. The previous feed stays published only to bring older installs up to this version.
