SqlCents 0.3.4 Stable
released this
2026-10-26 23:28:54 -04:00 | 1 commits to main since this releaseCopy as IN clause — the results-grid right-click item, verified live in SSMS 22.
Select cells in an SSMS results grid, right-click, choose Copy as IN clause, and the clipboard holds
IN ( 723500, 723503, 723502, 723501 ). Clipboard only — nothing is inserted at the caret.- Reads the grid directly. SqlCents finds SSMS' own results grid inside the SSMS process and reads the
selected cells, so you do not have to Ctrl+C first. Multi-block selections and several grids on one results
tab are handled. - Literals. Numbers stay bare, grouped money (
1,234,567.80) and hex (0x1A2F) survive, text is quoted
with'doubled ('O''Brien'), an empty cell becomesNULL. - Options ▸ Results Grid. Quote text values, write them as
N'…', treat the textNULLas the keyword,
remove duplicates, sort (lexical or numeric), layout (one line / one value per line), maximum values. - Both grids. The item lands in the SQL grid's right-click menu and in the XMLA/MDX grid's. Fallbacks: the
SqlCents panel button and Tools ▸ SqlCents ▸ Copy as IN clause (results grid).
SSMS 22 (the VS 18 shell) renders no foreign command-table placement in any context menu, so the item is
written into SSMS' own popup command bar when the package loads and is re-added on each SSMS start.Downloads

SqlCents 0.3.3 Stable
released this
2026-10-22 23:31:02 -04:00 | 6 commits to main since this releaseSqlCents now notices it is installed twice. A per-user VSIX install lands in a random folder under %LOCALAPPDATA%\Microsoft\SSMS<instance>\Extensions and the shell loads every folder it finds, so two folders means two installs. That happened when an update armed three installer helpers: the second write landed while SSMS was rebuilding its MEF catalogue, the extension vanished from that catalogue, and completion, colouring and the hints went dead while the menu, panel and cache kept working - with no error anywhere. 8 s after load SqlCents scans the scan roots for its own VSIX id, logs what it finds, and shows a red panel banner naming the folder to keep, the folders to delete and the catalogue to clear, with a "Copy cleanup command" button that puts the whole repair on the clipboard.

SqlCents 0.3.2 Stable
released this
2026-10-22 22:52:17 -04:00 | 10 commits to main since this releaseSelf-update fix: double-clicking "Download and install" no longer arms two installer helpers. Two helpers meant two elevated VSIXInstaller runs when SSMS closed and two copies of the extension folder in the extension catalog. Arming is now idempotent - an in-process guard plus an arm marker naming the SSMS process being waited on - and the staged VSIX downloads atomically through a .part file. Nothing outside the update flow changes.

SqlCents 0.3.1 Stable
released this
2026-10-22 22:22:12 -04:00 | 13 commits to main since this releaseTwo fixes to the update path itself: the packaged VSIX now carries the version it is named for (the 0.3.0 package wrapped 0.3.0 assemblies in a 0.3.0-named file but a 0.2.0 manifest, because VSSDK does not regenerate the manifest on an incremental build - publish-release.ps1 now asserts it), and Install SqlCents Update closes SSMS when you answer Yes to Close SSMS now? instead of only arming the installer.
